Hello Everyone,
I'm posting this to introduce myself--or to reintroduce myself to those whom I met at the most recent Liberty Forum.
My name is Adam. At the moment I'm living in Seattle, Washington, where I am just weeks away from acquiring my JD from the Seattle University School of Law. After that I will be heading straight to Concord to prepare for the July bar examination. If all goes well, I'll be a lawfully practicing attorney before too terribly long.
Although we porcupines all share a common desire for liberty, we each have our pet issues, and monetary sanity is one of mine. I am happy to see there are some folks working in this arena, and I look forward to joining your effort.
These forums do look a little slow, but I realize this is a specialized area. But if this is not the place where active discussion of the establishment of a metal-based economy in New Hampshire is happening, please guide me appropriately. Assuming I'm in the right place, I will be making my own hopefully worthwhile contributions to the discussions here.
Now that I've taken care of this formality, I'll be going on to add some substance to the various ongoing discussions in the other forums on this site. Cheers to all; I look forward to my arrival home.
Adam Mackler

Re: Hello
Yep, this is intended to be the place to talk about metal based currencies, especially silver.
This forum was built to discuss and organize action.
Endless debate and inaction does occur at other forums
Re: Hello
Hi. I'm just keen to find out what the current status of the Shire Silver project is (?). I am so anxious to begin using a sound money. I can't wait to work with Free-Staters to bootstrap a sound-money economy.
I am not yet in NH; I am living in the Boston area. I do hope to move to NH soon, but I'd like to do whatever I can to further this effort, even before I am able to move to the Free State -- whether that be in helping to get the minting started, contacting businesses to encourage them to participate, or participating directly in the hard-money economy (by selling and buying goods/services for hard money).
Please let me know what the current status of the project is, and let me know if there's any way I can get involved (particularly, considering I'm still out-of-state) at this point.
(Sorry if I've posted this message in a bad spot. The forum wouldn't seem to let me post as a new topic.)
